Mentor guided programs
Mentor guided programs will take place in the mornings at the music school, varying from the (A) advanced masterclass and (B) ethno improvisation course to the (C) level-differentiated instrument lessons and (D) intensive basic course of jazz harmony and composition.

Lectures
During Jazzinty the afternoons will start with plenary lectures on various aspects of jazz playing: melody, harmony, rhythm and improvisation. Lectures will be divided to the basic and advanced levels: a student will be able to select only one level or attend both levels.

Combo rehearsals
Each student (except the students of jazz harmony) will have an opportunity to be active in one of the Jazzinty combos, which will prepare different programs with their mentors. Rehearsals will take place in the afternoon at the music school and Goga Atrium.

Performances

Jam sessions
An integral part of Jazzinty is evening jam sessions in LokalPatriot Club where the stage is reserved primarily for the Jazzinty students and mentors from 21.00 on every night. It is also possible to perform in the afternoon in the acoustic atrium of Goga’s bookshop (every day from 18.00 to 19.00).

Festival concerts
During the same week a jazz festival will take place in Novo mesto. Jazzinty students will be able to visit all of the festival concerts free of charge.

Jazzon Finals
The competition Jazzon for the best Slovene jazz compostition reaches its peak with the finals. Jazzinty students are able to take an active part in voting for the Jazzon audience award.
